Must work it out. Dont wanna quit!

*sigh* school again tomorrow. Its that time again to do hw's, proj's and such. Time to wake up early and do d same stuff each and every single day. Oh well, enough with this.

Just came from a YFC metting, and oh man that felt oh sooo great! It's like everytime I go to the meetings to have worship and to "bond" I feel somehow renewed after. I feel more relaxed, man words can't describe these feelings. Just see it for yourself by joining in. During worship, I still get goosebumps. I don't know why, but it feels strange, weird and unique all in a good way. You know when people say that they experience God, I think its like that, one of the best feelings I have ever felt.

Anyways its a "crazy hair day" this cluster assembly, and I participated in it! They had the hairspray sprayed on my hair, and the rest is ohh soooo cool! They were supposed to do a mohawk on me, but it ended up looking like those dragonball Z hairs, when they charge to become a super saiyan (?spelling?) or something, bata jusst type in goku/gohan in google pics. But it eventually died throughout the meeting. Should've took a picture of it, but oh well, I already bought hair spray to do it again, or to do other styles like an emo one or something. So I went into Zellers with my hair at the back still standing up. And the workers there were asking me questions, don't know why. :-p

Man, now I have to balance schooltime, and worktime. Don't know if i could do them both at the same time, but oh well, let's just see what happens next.

Speaking of work, I'll just share my experiences 'bout it.

1st day- first, they let me watch some videos, blah blah boring. After of watching the vids for almost an hour I decided to stop. That's the time that I thought that I won't get out of that store (burger king) alive. Like seriously, nanibago tlaga ako sa pace ng work sa fast-food. they told me that this is not a restaurant, this is fast-food. Thought of quitting also, but my mom said to give it a break, and if it still doesn't work-out, then quit. Co-workers were also nice, and they called me the "baby" of the group, cause I am the youngest. Worked for 6 straight hours.

2nd day- had to make burgers now, only for dine-in customers though, not drive-thru yet. Again, thought of quitting because I can't remember the things you have to put to different burgers (ie lettuce forthis, tomaotes for that). I only remembered how to make a bk fish and chicken at the end of the day (what a shame). And I prefer to stay at the back and wash the dished rather than to make burgers. Well, also to load burger buns, burgers and fries. Met kuya Ariel, and he had so much patience with me. Kewl! Worked for 7 straight hours.

3rd day- Getting the hang of making burgers now. But still slow on wrapping them. To add to that, Joseph (flip manager) told me that I should know how to make most of the burgers by next week, talking 'bout no pressure at all'. Worked for 6 hours, with 20 min break.

4th day- I made a bank account before going to work. And at work, I felt more comfortable. I can make the whopper, cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger and double cheeseburger. Also, my co-workers were starting to kind of treat me like I've been working there already for a month. Which is I think good for me, in a way that I could push myself to the "limits" *man this is fast-food! not some thrilling event or something*. Anyways, I'm also starting to like the work now. Just hate the peak times, but all in all, its all working out good. worked 6 hours with 20 min break.

5th day- met the person I'm replacing. And his situation was like of Arvin's (Tajonera). After of staying here for almost a year, they will to move to Alberta. And he's so cool! He's a year younger than me, but he's like an expert. Well, maybe because of the fact that he started feb last year. So kwentuhan lang kami pag hindi busy. Kain ng onion rings and fries (:-p). So he showed me how to do the "closing job". And I can't believe that after 10 or 11 pm, its only him and Sutha (manager) that's left there almost everyday. And its not easy at all! There are also peak times right before the store closes, and peak times in drive-thru. I really don't know how they do it, especially Jonathan (his name). He has to do pretty much everything in the kitchen, making burgers, loading burgers and buns. And he also has to clean the store. kudos to you man! Too bad he has to leave though, we could be a preety good team during closing haha! Worked for 10 hours straught, got home at 2:30 with a poutine!! brraap!

That's preyty much it at work. As always, something new to you is always hard at first, but once you get used to it, "sisiw na yan"- quoted from Jonathan.

*hope school and work could work out
*don't go to fast-food stores at peak times, fries and others are at their I must say "oily-est" point. :-p
*till next time Jonathan!
